Members of the Board

SHEN needs to fill positions on its board of directors. Members of the board serve for a term of two years at the end of which they may be appointed for another term of two years. The board of directors assume overall responsibilities such as, but not limited to, the following:

  1. Oversight, policy and direction;
  2. Risk protection;
  3. Finance;
  4. Setting achievable goals, objectives and targets;
  5. Direct and help raise funds; and
  6. Overall welfare of the organization.

A strong and demonstrable passion to work and a strong belief in the efficacy of education in core spirituality for building bridges across peoples' hearts and minds to integrate diversity is a necessary qualification for being asked to serve or to continue serving on the SHEN board.
