Inter-religious Education

It was perhaps hoped that inter-religious education would eliminate the problem of human fragmentation as evidenced in religious intolerance amongst human population. Practically, every university, college and school instituted courses in comparative religion to encourage inter-religious learning. All that effort delivered was a superficial knowledge of the different rituals, doctrines and dogma, but humanity stayed fragmented.

It is our contention that knowledge of the exclusive and potentially divisive details cannot replace the integrative force of the truth repeatedly discovered by our prophets, sages, and seers as their deepest spiritual insights.

Learning about various religious ritual, doctrines and dogma does not lead to closing the gap between the hearts and minds of people, but learning about the core spirituality of any religion definitely has that potential. Only the Truth and nothing but the Truth can set us free.
