Prof. Hira Ahuja’s story is one of total immersion in science and technology. The journey of his life took him from construction industry in India to the world of engineering education in 1966 when he immigrated to Canada. He has taught engineering at the University of Waterloo, the Memorial University of Newfoundland, Technical University of Nova Scotia, and the University of Toronto. Currently he runs an independent business offering professional development courses to practicing engineers in most major urban centers in Canada. He is a prolific writer and he has authored five prestigious books in engineering.

It is natural for Hira to begin his spiritual quest in science. During the last three years, in his spare time, he has tried to study the universe and the human spirit; and sought the answers to spiritual questions that most of us seek from the perspective of modern science. Any answers he may have discovered are from his own search and not from a religious doctrine. Like most of us, Hira experiences periods of doubts.

In this seminar he wishes to share his spiritual search with us. Hira presented this seminar at the University of Waterloo to an audience of 12.
