Not only you and me from our childhood, but even the most ancient humans have wondered who puts the stars and planets up there in the sky and keeps them in place, who teaches the nightingale to sing, the weaver bird to make a nest, the peacock to dance ? Who paints the glowing rainbow in the sky and creates awesome flowers on earth ?

"Consider the lilies - how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these". - Luke 12 : 27.

King Solomon was considered to be very wise. A folktale about his wisdom runs like this :

This poem was written for global unity soon after the 9/11 tragedy. Pun intended !

Here are some questions that often visit a thinking head :

If God is, why does He hide ? Why doesn't He appear before us and reveal the truth ?

If God is good and merciful, and also omnipotent, why is there so much suffering and injustice in the world, especially for people who are good and upright ? Why did the prophets suffer ?

Prophets, sages, seers and philosophers of all traditions are spiritual scientists. They deliberate upon great questions of existence and our place in the universe, such as: “Where did this infinitely diverse universe come from? Who am I? How do I relate with the universe?” “What is my purpose in life?” etc. The spiritual scientists arrive at an unseen reality, called spirit, underlying the universe. Although in itself invisible, the spirit is immensely visible by its effects.

We live in the midst of one of the greatest transitions in Earth's history. Humanity, having become a planetary force, is now shaping both its own future and the long-term future of millions of species of life. The ecological crisis and increasing poverty, population, hunger and violence are forcing man inevitably to face the realities of the human situation.
