Buddhism is a major world religion yet it has no concept of, or belief in a creator God. The Buddhist teachings focus on freedom from suffering, and the possibility of ‘awakening’. Buddha means ‘awakened one’. What is it that the Buddha awakened to? And how does the spiritual journey unfold from a Buddhist perspective?
