Love is Giving: Learn Giving to Learn Loving
Shinto and Buddhism, aka the Universe, fundamentally gives us everything. We cannot receive more even if we asked for more. It is important to first learn and realize the fact that we do receive from the universe already. We call what universe gives us "Love or Mercy". If it is us who crave for more, then it is also us who can give. To be able to realize that you are receiving, you need to first give. This is called "Offering" in Buddhism. Asking for more without noticing you were given everything already, or being grateful for what you were given and try to give too - this depends on the size and nobleness of "Love or Mercy" given and the level of sensation and feeling that come from it. The premise is that people are loved by the world, so the problems people have all come from the fact they are not aware of the "Love or Mercy" given to them. This is individual's free will, and "Love and Mercy" gives that free will as well. Only by giving, one can understand this concept.
