A panel consisting primarily of our youth will hold a discussion on a question related with the theme of this conference. The panelists will address the question leaving time at the end of the session for questions from the floor.

The panel will be moderated by Garima Talwar who will pose the following question:

How do you, in a world whose politics and mainstream media seems to be based on a foundation of inciting divisiveness, navigate and practice a world view of "unity in diversity"?

Garima is the Executive Assistant and Special Policy Advisor to the Assistant Deputy Minister of Income Security and Pension Policy at the Ministry of Finance. Her main interests are in understanding how various sectors of society (government, civil society and private industry, for example) can work together to improve the well-being of populations worldwide. She holds a Masters of Public Health from the University of Toronto, and is also an avid reader, dancer, and foodie.
